Thanks to a lot of hard work on the part of a lot of campaign volunteers and Peg Luksik’s organizational and team building skills, it looks like we are back on the ballot. Thank you all for all the enthusiasm, phone calls, footwork, and prayers. It would not have been possible without you! We needed 1000 votes to be listed on the ballot for the General Election in November.

He had an opponent in the last election, too. Diana Irey. Not only a rock solid conservative, but a total babe to boot. she received no support at all from the party, AND the so called conservative paper, the Tribune Review, endorsed Murtha.

Yup, we gave her much attention, although it turned out to be the worst possible year any GOP challenger could be running in. A lot of RINOs give that scum cover.

Sounds fine to me, Red, you know I'll be in. I think Jaz still has the old Irey ping list we used back in '06. Let's see what the official count is first before we launch. We should know as early as Friday and probably no later than Monday.
