Clinton Defeats Obama in Pennsylvania, Vows to March On
FoxNews ^ | April 22, 2008

Hillary Clinton declared the “tide is turning” Tuesday after scoring a critical victory in the Pennsylvania Democratic primary, pushing the race ever forward to the nine remaining contests.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting, Clinton had 55 percent and Barack Obama had 45 percent, a comfortable enough margin to deny critics their demand that she quit the race.

“Some counted me out and said to drop out,” Clinton told cheering supporters at a rally in Philadelphia. “But the American people don’t quit. And they deserve a president who doesn’t quit either.”

Having already locked down the Republican nomination after the March 4 primaries, John McCain easily coasted to victory in Pennsylvania Tuesday, pulling 73 percent with 98 percent of precincts reporting.

Clinton beat Obama in the Keystone State primary with a big boost from her core constituencies, including lower income and union households, but she also ended up overperforming among some groups that are Obama strongholds, including college-educated voters and last-minute decision makers.

Pre-election surveys cast Clinton as the favorite in Pennsylvania, but she was under pressure to win big in the state. Trailing Obama in pledged delegates, she’s trying to win over uncommitted superdelegates by arguing that she’s more electable against McCain in a general election. A big win in Pennsylvania helps strengthen her argument that she is dominating in large swing states critical to Democrats in November.

“Hillary has won all the states we have to win in the general election,” Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told FOX News after the race was called, touting the fact that Clinton won Pennsylvania despite being largely outspent in the state by Obama.

I think that since Obama got creamed in PA by 10%, a lot of Blacks will stay home come November.

Blacks staying home in PA is what I meant. PA has a good chance of being a RED state in 20 years.

Greg Mitchell over at HuffPo has written an article claiming the white, blue-collar workers who voted for Hillary last night are all racists.

Why?

Is “Blatant Marxist” considered a “race”, now?

This is great news. Which is worse, The Mullah or The Beast? Answer: Both!

What makes this news great is they keep fighting each other. Meanwhile, McCain keeps rising in the polls.

I know, I know. McCain is no great shakes. But he’s no Mullah. He’s no Beast. For all his faults he is a patriotic American. That’s kind of a bare minimum with me for a president: to be a patriotic American.

The Mullah Obama hates America. God D-n America!

The Beast is just pure wickedness, pure evil. She doesn’t particularly hate America, but she doesn’t give a sh-t about anything but herself and her grubby handfuls of power.

No. Give me John McCain. McCain-Feingold McCain. Pro-immigration McCain. Stab-conservatives-in-the-back McCain. But for all that: Loves-his-country McCain.

“Operation Chaos” moves on.

Yep, there's no doubt about it. Hillary Clinton won by about 200k votes in PA. Operation Chaos is responsible for at least that amount of her votes yesterday. Anybody who says otherwise denies reality, is delustional, will not admit the truth.

Have to admit I enjoyed it when the Clinton crowd last night started chanting Obama`s line, “yes we can.”

Things could still get interesting. Clinton can`t win with pledged delegates, but when all the primaries are over, she could still beat Obama regarding the popular vote. If that happens she would have two arguments to make to the super delegates. 1) She would do better against McCain than Obama. 2) She won the popular vote.

So far Hillary has won every battleground state that the Dems must sweep to win next November, NJ, OH, PA, TX, CA, plus FL and MI, if you count those. Obama has won states that are a lock for either the Dems or the Pubs. And yet the Dem establishment wants to hurry up and give it to Obama. If they don’t black voters and the Move On crowd will mutuiny. Look for a huge electoral McCain victory come Nov.

That doesn't mean you have to vote for McCain.

No, you can always let a crooked soicialist or an anti-American neo-Marxist win by default.

8 years from now you'll be voting for a John Kerry type running on the Republican ticket and think you're doing the right thing because the Democrat is just a little bit worse.

This is a game where--no matter which party wins--the country loses. Don't be part of it.
