I was wondering where this “pressure to abort” was coming from, and all that was mentioned in the article was that 80% of DS babies are aborted.
The sad thing is, that test isn’t entirely accurate. You hear about diagnosis of DS and the baby is just fine when born.
When the water broke she was about to deliver a Republican keynote address in Texas. She finished the speech and then flew back to Alaska, eight hours. She is experienced in these things and wasn’t worried but the second-guessers are out in force saying the airline shouldn’t have flown her in that state. She is back at work and all is well.
