Meshaal told a press conference in Damascus that Hamas would not recognize the Jewish state and would insist on the right of some 4.5 million Palestinian refugees to return to Israel. Much ado about nothing... Israel is not going back to the 1967 borders and will not take in four-and-half million new Arab citizens...

'Jimmy Carter is a senile old coot and has neither the authority nor is it his business to negotiate diplomatic settlements, and his meeting with an acknowledged terrorist organization merely confers false legitimacy on them.'
