The March FEC reports have been posted for the presidential campaigns. Obama's is here. Clinton's is here. McCain's is here.
At the end of February, Clinton's campaign was in the red when her debts and loan to herself were factored in. It appears that at the end of March, her financial situation has worsened. In fact, at the end of March, Hillary Clinton's campaign debts alone exceeded her cash on hand. That's quite stunning for a campaign that was supposed to be built on fund raising prowess.
As of March 31, 2008, Clinton reported cash on hand totaling $31,712,197.67. However, that's not the real number -- a good chunk of that money, over $22 million, can only be spent in the general election. The Associated Press is even reporting that Clinton is in the red:
Clinton reported raising $20 million in March and had $9 million for the primary available at the beginning of April. But she also reported debts of $10.3 million, putting her in the red.
To be exact, the campaign owes debts totaling $10,321,562.87 -- and that doesn't include the $5 million loan she made to the campaign. Mark Penn's firm is owed over $4.5 million.

Don’t rent or lease or sell ad space to the HilLIARy campaign this week on credit~!!!!!!!!!!
The Clintons get credit card numbers from their donors and then access their credit cards over and over again without getting permission. This is being covered up by the media.
And this bad news for Hillary is after she lent the campaign $5 million, isn’t it?
Does anyone else think it odd that the Clintons loaned the campaign the $5 million, and then embarked on a new round of fundraising? What get me about that is, if you are contributing to Billary now, they are going to take your money and repay themselves from the campaign funds. In other words, the loan to the campaign becomes an expense of the campaign, to be paid from campaign funds. Even if you just love Bill and Hillary, do you really want to contribute just to see your money go back into their bank account?
She was once “flush with cash”, now she’s just flushed........
The Clintons are rich. They can handle it.
I’ll bet she’s stiffing small businesses all over Pennsylvania right now..
The sad thing is so many of their contributors are probably too stupid to even see it for what it is. They just follow along like lemmings, opening their wallets for the “smartest woman in America”. All the while she is playing them for fools and robbing them blind.

Hillary’s loan, with interest
Hillary Clinton’s $5 million loan to her campaign won’t be a total loss for the candidate.
Campaign finance documents filed today show that she’s charging her campaign an interest rate of 1.26 percent.
It’s a modest rate which means that if she pays herself back with donor contributions she still would have been better off putting her money in a savings account at a commercial bank.
Mitt Romney this year did not charge his campaign interest,he donated the money.
Clinton’s loan has not, however, been paid back.
(Thanks to the reader who pointed this one out. Both candidates filings are now up at fec.gov; let me know what you find, as many eyes are better than two.)
CORRECTION: John Kerry’s loan was a bank loan, and the campaign paid interest to the bank.
Are you sure the 1.26% on Hillary’s! isn’t a monthly rate for a APR of almost 16%?
Operation Chaos!
The only way hillary could win this is if she really IS the antichrist.
We’ll see.
bull, they both have so much money it can never be kept track of....
Maybe she should hit her husband up for a loan. He’s managed to take in some 109 million since he left office. Plus we have no idea how much his other trusts and accounts have. I’ll feel sorry for a politician financially when... like never. Those bastards should all be investigated for how their net worth sky rockets during and after their time in office.
welcome to FR
The Chinese military is getting the next contribution together.
Anyone foolish enough to let any Demagogues (especially Clintonistas) have their credit card # deserves to get milked dry!!
lol!
I suppose her campaign will have to file for bankruptcy.
