The Obama ‘Change’ Industry is Booming in Philadelphia

The next pivotal primary takes place in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, and the conventional wisdom is that Hillary Clinton will win the Keystone State. But looking at the size and passion of the crowd that gathered in downtown Philadelphia on Friday to cheer on Barack Obama, you would have every reason to believe that the conventional wisdom is wrong.

Before Obama took the stage at Philadelphia's Independence Park, I interviewed about two dozen people of the estimated 35,000 people who showed up to hear the Illinois senator speak. What I gathered from my interviews is that Obama's support is not primarily due to specific policy stances that differentiate him from Hillary, but more due to intangibles such as his engaging personality and inspirational style.

"I just think he represents the Democratic Reagan. I think he represents an opportunity to change America in a fundamental way," one supporter told me.

“We trained hard, but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams, we would be reorganized. I was to learn alter in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing – and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress, while producing confusion, inefficiency and demoralization.”

Petronius, circa 100 AD - Discussing his life in the Roman Legions

...huh!? This “supporter” sure does know the Obama “lingo”, that’s for sure. “Change”. “Fundamental Way”. And that’s as far as it goes.

This guy is so distant from being the Democratic Reagan, I don’t even know where to begin. You can’t hate Americans and bring them together. This dude hates a large portion of Americans...and basically the portion that makes American great - both the workers and the business leaders that work together to produce our economic success.

The only ones he seems to like are the ones that take handouts from the government.

Article was ok, but not well written. I think someone really needs to do a serious study of Barry and his Obamabots. I am not surprised by anything the author found in his interviews, but I am surprised that he did not find it more disturbing.

Obama is a fascist in the real, textbook sense of the word and the left and the press is eating it up. I would create a blog and detail the incredible similarities between Obama and Hitler, but that would be another voice in the endless noise. An established journalist, preferably someone in the middle or even traditional left has to expose this creep. It’s not just about winning an election. The man and his followers are a genuine menace to western civilization.

Barry and the Obamatrons. This is getting pathetic. Believe this is really starting to show the depths of how far society in general has sunk. How shallow are these people to trust the leadership of the free world to a snake oil salesman.

Living in PA, witnessing the contest between BO and HC has been very entertaining. I particularly enjoy driving to work and noticing which lawns have had campaign signs removed overnight. I can only imagine the indignation of the home owners who are finally getting a taste of what GOP home owners have experienced for years.

The 110% voter turnout in Philly is going to drive Hillary through the roof!

"I just think he represents the Democratic Reagan.I think he represents an opportunity to change America in a fundamental way,"

Reagan didn't view America the way a scientist looks at a petri dish, as something ready for experimentation.
