Because there is no reason to ban Christianity, plus it's constitutionaly protected while Islam is not.
One would hope, that if the time came when the government DID have the guts to purge Islamic evil from this land, it would be because ther were enough Christian minded people elected to government.
But no worries, as I said, This country is going to go down because of it's ignorance, just like the roman empire did, just like (what is now Greece) fell to Islam.
There are approx 10 million Muslim in America. Some say 7 million.
That’s more than 1%.
That is an assumption.
We need one that also addresses the Farrakans and the Wrights of this nation. They are using their so called religions as tax shelters and this has to stop”
Don’t forget the idiots in Kansas who call themselves a church and all they do is protest at military funerals.
Anyway, legislating away religion is the antithesis of Christianity. As Christians, the core of our acceptance of our religion is our freedom to choose it. If we start legislating away other religions, we are removing the freedom to choose religion, and thus, it wouldn't be a real Christian nation, it would be a nation with the facade of Christianity based on no faith but on the necessity to put on airs as a legislative necessity.
An assumption? No it’s quite clear:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
I don’t see Christianity mentioned there.

All we need to do is ban Islam, I'm from the government and I'm here to help..
According to their data only 1% in America prefer to name Islam as their religion.
I would assume there are more than 3 million Muslims in America, but only 1% feel strong enough about their faith to consider themselves Muslim.
So if they are apostate Muslims I seriouly doubt they are about the strap on suicide belts.
No. We cannot allow our sworn enemies free reign. If allowing absolute freedom to any movement that includes a self-proclaimed religious component is more important than the survival of our liberty, our nation, our culture and our own religious freedom, then we will have none of that.
Movements, in whatever guise, that advocate our destruction and enslavement, are our mortal enemy, by their own words and deeds. Either they will obtain victory over us, or we will over them. By their choice, there is no middle ground.
The hyperventilating hysterics demanding we outlaw this religion or that religion out of fear of it's adherents are a very vocal but insignificant minority.
We can't even get 2/3rds of the states together to outlaw the slaughter of the unborn, getting them together to take scissors to the constitution won't be any easier. And in the end that is exactly what they are demanding, one undesirable practice at a time.
They only believe in Reagan on certain things..
Okay, so what is the answer to Islamofascism?
My biggest fear about this whole war with Islam is that they will attack us so dramatically that the resulting outcry from surviving American citizens will force the government to do something like this amendment, or something even worse. The US of A may well not be recognizable in the 10-15 years.
We may not have a choice, if the country is to survive.
Those acts are already banned by law and the Constitution, thus, there would be no need to make a Constitutional amemndment banning your 'belief', your practice of the belief is already limited as it infringes on the rights of others. The 'faith' or religious aspect would never need be touched to limit the danger of the religion you describe. (if existing laws are upheld.)
Zero chance of ratification.
