I think these protests are great....eventually, the rest of the country will realize how silly these "hurt feeling protesters" are and stop paying attention. To think that Chinese people in America would complain about comments about the oppressive regime makes me wonder about the loyalty to this country of every single one of them. At least there were no tanks and soldiers sent in to quell the protest...

Strange- we have Americans burning the American flag because of perceived imperialism and abuse of rights; Chinese people protest in this country about "saying" things about China. The world has really turned upside-down. I'd gladly pay for all the eco-fruitcakes to travel to China to see how they handle criticism of their eco policies and, at the same time, experience their protest policies. Maybe we could get the hollow-wood types to go over, too, and make movies critical of the Chinese government's policy of allowing only one birth per citizen. "Juno" would have a much different premise, right? "cheaper by the dozen" would be called "cheaper with only one".

Thinking of the one child policy- I hope all the protesters maintain that mindset while in our country. One child per couple. Period. We might as well ask the chinese protesters to live under the same conditions they defend.
