And from the standpoint of Obama campaign figures, the material was gotten under false pretenses. One top Obama hand speaks of the campaign and candidate being blindsided. Fowler was a supporter, a contributor, an activist, a blogger, not a reporter. With the event closed to the press, Obama spoke with less care than he would have otherwise had he known a reporter, of any sort, was in attendance.

The context in which these remarks were made is very telling - he thought there would be no yahoos around to overhear
Yes. He thought he was with like minds and could speak the truth as he sees it. Getting caught was never in the plan.
Unguarded moments provide an uncensored view into any candidate’s soul.
I don’t think Obama or any of the originals who heard and signed off on this understood the stink that this would cause.
They agree with Obama and...
they believe that, every “thinking” person will agree with them.
He seems to have a lot in common with Ray Nagin...
LOL!
And Wargle to you, too!
yes.....and anyone who does not agree with them is a non thinking person.
We recognized it was a politically volatile story and thought it would create news, says Marc Cooper, editorial coordinator of Huffington Posts Off The Bus project for citizen journalists such as Fowler. We had no idea that the controversy would reach this magnitude.

“Team McCain team swiftly blasted the magic words out through not only its own campaign apparatus but every media organ of the Republican Party.”
Oh, please. The ‘net did that long before.
Well we are dealing here with a EMPTY SUIT whose ONLY qualifications is that he's over 35. Everything else is GLIBish, ELITist, I AM the ONE crap:-()

That’s more reason why Rush’s operation chaos must succeed and continue - gradually (hopefully), more and more truth will emerge about BHO before it’s too late. Time can be our friend - there’ll be more and more unguarded, unscripted moments where this leopard will show its spots.
yes, I love how it cuts both ways. And lately, so many times that applies to the left loons. What a change!
“Unguarded moments provide an uncensored view into any candidates soul.”
PING for wisdom on Obama.
