Police in Colorado Springs have arrested a woman for investigation of making a false report to authorities that may be connected to the Fundamentalist LDS Church's raid on the YFZ Ranch in Texas. The woman allegedly has a history of making calls while pretending to be a young girl.
Rozita Swinton, 33, was arrested on a warrant charging her with false reporting to authorities, a misdemeanor, the Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed in a brief statement issued late Thursday. Swinton was arrested at her home on Wednesday in connection with an incident that occurred in Colorado Springs in February, police said

For those who want to obfuscate in order to defend the FLDS, Rozita Swinton is not one of the named affiants in the FLDS warrant.
The named affiants: Rebecca Baxter, Ruby Gutierrez, Tina Martinez, and Leslie Brooks Long.
Swinton is a copycat caller, not the state's witness.

I have seen unsubstatiated internet posts suggesting this woman is mainstream LDS, a member of the Colorado Springs, East Stake

The question is, how many Rozita E Swinton’s are there in the 5th congressional district of colorado. My bet, only one (and I can only find one). Must credit this as FR original research.

I read where she's on Obamas election committee Not really a factor in my opinion. My only concern is this really the source of the calls that the raid was based on. After reading the entire article, it appears to be the source.

The article clearly states that this woman contacted Flora Jessop after the warrant was served in the original incident.

I’m not sure how anyone benefits, from trying to tie the exposure of this illegal polygamist sect to Obama. Does the press in Utah really believe this is some nefarious plot to discredit Romney as a potential VP or something? I can’t wrap my mind around all the convoluted thinking, if so.
To: wideawake
Most folks will not know the details to that level and just make the assumption that it is the source. The author did not make that paramount.

Burning at the stake would be a good start.Really? For filing a false police report?

I heard on the news last night that the Feds had traced the calls to her.
Don't know if it is just a rumor or what.

No such thing as an anonymous call - computers placing and tracking calls can tell which home or cell was used, where and when.
