WILMINGTON (AP) — A Wilmington high school student is on court-ordered probation after admitting she baked marijuana into cookies that were given to a teacher.

The Star-News of Wilmington reported Friday that 17-year-old Elizabeth Ann Coleman was given two years supervised probation and ordered to perform 96 hours of community service. She also must write an apology letter to the Spanish teacher.

Assistant District Attorney Tom Old said Coleman admitted sharing the cookies with friends, but Old said it was another teenager at Laney High School that gave the cookies to the teacher.

An arrest warrant said the teacher ate the cookies and became "mentally incapacitated."

Coleman had been charged with two felony counts of contaminating food with a controlled substance. Old said if Coleman makes it through her probation, the case will be dismissed.

The teacher probably wasn’t the one that complained. It was probably someone who didn’t get their cookie! hehe

Um, I think I've heard of at least one factory head and one government regulator in China who have been *executed* over the lead in their toy exports.

You know, I guess I'm getting older, 'cause I don't think being "grateful" would apply here.

The smart kids made theirs with Metamucil.

Imagine hogging on brownies which contain maybe 8 tablespoons of Metamucil.

Chocolate cake made with Exlax. A high school guy I know got one from his ex-girlfriend. He shared it with his buddies in the dorm. Luckily, he was no friend of mine!
