I lived for 3 years on South Mattis. Felt a quake there in ‘67 or ‘68. I think that quake was also from southen Illinois.
South Mattis... prior to Old Farm, that was out in the country, I guess. Lots of stuff going in now, they’re breaking ground with things that essentially go all the way out to the (now fenced-in) airport.
We’re just east of Staley, but there are homes even four blocks west of us!
