Dean: I need a decision 'now'

An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates to say who they’re for – and “I need them to say who they’re for starting now.”

“We cannot give up two or three months of active campaigning and healing time,” the Democratic National Committee Chairman told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “We’ve got to know who our nominee is.”

not so much “his candidate” but his PARTY. This is going to rip the dhimmirats apart, right into the bowels of history.

It's a nice fantasy, but it would be too much of a luxury to entertain such a thing.

If the delegates commit now, they will have to commit to Obama, otherwise Hillary will have the stigma of being selected not elected

That's exactly what Dean is doing. He wants to hand Obama the nomination and stop this utterly entertaining carnage. I don't think he should. Do you?

Clinton has a better chance if the Michigan and Florida delegats stay disqualified, as they still count toward the 2025 needed for the nomination. They vote “Present” and their total is about 350 between the two states.

This throws the convention into chaos has neither candidate can get the needed total on the first vote. Then Clinton can use her advantage to bribe, blackmail, threaten enough delegate to steal the nomination.

Then the black vote abandons the dems in November. Just watch.

Won’t the superdelegates be able to put Obama over the top?

If the superdelegates go roughly 55-45 or closer (in favor of either candidate), neither candidate will have 2025 once all of them are tallied on the first ballot. Remember the disqualified 350 or so that still count toward the 2025 requirement.
