He allows the principal advocates of Darwinism to speak their minds.

Michael Moore, the left's favorite documentarian, never lets the other side speak its mind -- except when it is heavily edited, so heavily edited, in fact, as to twist and distort the meaning of what was actually said.

Seems as though we finally found a movie to spend our cash on.

Thanks, Ben...I was gettin' a bit movie starved, too!

I haven't been to a movie in 2 or 3 years, last one was "Cars" with my husband's grandson.

I think I'll be sure to go see this one next week.

I do want to see this film, hoping it stays in the theaters since we can’t go this weekend.

” What, then, is the alternate explanation? Stein asks these experts, and their very serious answers are priceless. One theorizes that life began somehow on the backs of crystals. Another states electric sparks from a lightning storm created organic matter (out of nothing). Another declares that life was brought to Earth by aliens. Anything but God. “

Pricless indeed. A lightning bolt manufactured the first protein from nothing ! ?

Priceless.

This will be shocking news to the evolutionarily biologists that I know who attend church or synagogue multiple times each week.

How should I explain to them that they are really atheists?

Six Things in Expelled That Ben Stein Doesn’t Want You to Know...

Looks like Ben Stein has been taking documentary lessons from Michael Moore.

I didn't have to actually see Al Gore's movie before I pronounced it a crock.

I feel pretty confident that Ben Stein's film is cut from the same cloth.

Boob bait for the Bubbas...

He allows the principal advocates of Darwinism to speak their minds.

Brilliant! Knowing what a cesspool of claptrap is in those minds, he brings his point home so much better by allowing them to expose themselves...

.... a spotlight on the ignorance of so many who say so much, yet know so very little.

I go to the theater about once a year - I guess this will be my 2008 movie...

This post is not a direct comment about Mr. Stein or his movie Expelled, which I have not seen.

The problem that I have with the issues being brought up by Mr. Stein and his movie is the following. The people who are wrongly being oppressed, Christians in particular if I understand what the movie is about, are ignorant of the Constitution and its history anyway. The consequence of this ignorance is that Christians are impotent to stand up for their constitutional rights against factions who are themselves constitutionally ignorant.

Given Mr. Stein's movie, this post (<-click) appropriately references an earlier thread relating to the problems that teacher John Freshwater is having with respect to keeping his bible in the classroom.

Also, this post (<-click) referenced in the post concerning Mr. Freshwater, while it addresses a 10 commandments issue, explains how FDR's distain for state rights got us into the c&s separation messes that we are having today, in my opinion, as evidenced by this very thread.

As I mentioned in another post, the bottom line is that the people need to reconnect with the intentions of the Founders concerning the Founder's division of federal and state powers. This is particularly important where the wrongly ignored 10th A. power of the states to address religious issues is concerned, power now limited by the honest interpretation of the 14th Amendment. The people then need to get in the faces of renegade justices, the Oval Office and the Senate and do a major spring cleaning where government respect for our religious freedoms is concerned.

I’ve noticed there is a concerted effort here on FR to discredit this movie before anybody sees it.

I'll go tonight to reward Ben's effort to turn the tide and encourage others to make similar movies.

Perhaps it will send a message to Hollywood.

Can't wait to see it. Ben's a rip.
