It just says so much that in mainstream culture, someone might lie and say "I have a Masters in my field" in hopes of getting ahead. In the black sub-culture, they might lie and say "I'm a violent felon and I've done hard time in prison" in an effort to get ahead.

But most of their problems are caused by typical white persons such as myself.

Most people conveniently "forget" criminal convictions on their resumés. The culture that idolizes rap stars looks positively on criminal convictions. That's really sad and speaks volumes about that culture.
