Obama's honeymoon over, and it shows

seems like ancient history now, but not long ago Hillary Clinton argued that Barack Obama was getting a free pass from the media.

Those days are over, with moderators, a private citizen and Clinton herself peppering Obama on Wednesday night with a barrage of the kind of tough questions he escaped for more than a year.

He answered some better than others, and some not at all. But the mere fact that at least five damaging issues were thrown at him within 30 minutes was testament to how much the race has changed in the six weeks since anti-American remarks by Obama's pastor, the Rev. Jeramiah Wright, became public.

That was the high-water mark of Obama's campaign, and now the cracks are showing. My bet is that his ineffective answers on Wednesday night will mean more doubts among voters and more concern among Democratic superdelegates about whether Obama is electable in November.

If anyone doubts that Obama did terrible in the debate, all you had to do was switch over to PMSNBC after the debate like I did. Keith Olberman was apoplectic, charging the debate was unfair, and that George Stephanopolis was channeling questions about William Ayers fed to him directly by Sean Hannity! He wanted to know why no questions about FISA, about waterboarding, etc. Chuck Todd the NBC analyst had to calm poor Keith down, lest he have a stroke. Todd actually tried to tell Keith the questions about Ayers relationship with Obama were legitimate, but old Keith would not relent. He kept mentioning the evil Sean Hannity.

AS far as my opinion of the debate, three things stood out in my mind that fit the Obama pattern, and which are his Achille's heel. On Rev Wright he said he never 'saw' the things that Wright said which are playing on UTUBE. When Charlie Gibson brought up Obama dis inviting Wright to his speech announcing his candidacy, Obama claimed that was because of remarks he saw from Wright in Rolling Stone magazine. He denies the obvious, which came up again when talking about guns. Obama said he supported 2nd amendment, but when Gibson brought up questionaire with Obama's OWN handwriting on it (from his first state senate run) Obama claimed an aide filled out the question that said he opposed private ownership of handguns. Again he denied the obvious, rather than admit it.

Third, on William Ayers, Obama claimed he was 'only 8' when Ayers was doing all those bombings, and he didn't really have a relationship with Ayers, other than they lived in the same neighborhood. When Gibson called him on that, he claimed Hillary's wife pardoned two members of the Weather UG, so what was the big deal. Again deny the obvious. Every time a controversy erupts over an issue, Obama claims he either never heard or saw, or that someone else filled out forms, or that he was just a kid when theat guy did all the bad stuff, so don't blame him.

When you take the teleprommpter away from Barry, the real man emerges, and it is not the same messiah that Keith Olberman and the MSM have anoointed.

I watched the first 1/2 of the debate.

Obama had many ‘deer caught in the headlights’ moments.

He kept trying, ineffectively, to divert attention from the difficult questions to his talking points.

Wonder if the rich whitey billionaires Obama went to beg for cash watched their guy. It is surreal that the very people Rev J Wright cursed for the evil of America are the very ones putting up the cash to change to the liberation movement.

Watching Fox &FRiends right now. They did a segment on body language. Lots of blinking from both candidates, but Obama came off really bad according to the expert.

The big question: Is Mrs. Obama still “proud” of America after the debate...?

I see Olberham and Nobama in the same light - they are both stark raving mad.

It’s revealing (although not surprising) that the first words out of Gnat Liar’s mouth this morning was that Hillery admitted that Nobama could beat McCain. I believe that the MSM suffer from a collective brain stem detachment.

I listened on the Savage show as Mike Savage commented about the debate. Almost fell off my chair laughing with Michaels right on the money observations of two phonies.

I have not seen the Mrs. out and about these days... I do not know if she is home baking cookies with the children or is she is doing service work to keep the family in their new home.

"With each new utterance on the topic of Reverend Wright, Barack Obama seems to confirm his own moral obliviousness. Worse yet, he seems to have disdain for those who are troubled by his own unwillingness, even now, to break with Wright."

On his new campaign plane, Obama said he has spoken with Wright in recent days and disputed any suggestion that he or his campaign have asked him to stay out of the limelight.

"I have talked to him," he said. "I haven't asked him to do anything."

Walter Williams: "For the nation and for black people, the first black president should be the caliber of a Jackie Robinson and Barack Obama is not. Barack Obama has charisma and charm but in terms of character, values and understanding, he is no Jackie Robinson. By now, many Americans have heard the racist and anti-American tirades of Obama's minister and spiritual counselor. There's no way that Obama could have been a 20-year member of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church and not been aware of his statements."

Thomas Sowell: "It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious. Some are saying that Senator Obama cannot be held responsible for what his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, said. In their version of events, Barack Obama just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time—and a bunch of mean-spirited people are trying to make something out of it."

Hussein Obama’s racist pseudo minister has turned the Dems' run for President into party's train wreck!

Devastatingly, Shelby Steele writes: “Obama has fellow-traveled with a hate-filled, anti-American black nationalism all his adult life, failing to stand and challenge an ideology that would have no place for his own (white) mother."

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

Here is the link to the Star Spangled Banner video with obama standing there without his hand over his heart...

Notice her ear ring!

The picture, which appeared on a U.S. Web site, showed the Illinois senator donning a Muslim elder's headdress and robes during a 2006 trip to Wajir in northeastern Kenya. Ahmed Sheikh Bahalow, a retired teacher and elder from ethnically (read Muslim) Somali Wajir, said his community was offended by the insinuation Obama had done anything wrong on his visit. "The Somali community and in particular those living in Kenya have never been that interested in America politics," Bahalow told Reuters in the central town of Isiolo. "But we are following it keenly now because we have been provoked." Wajir residents planned to demonstrate in the town after Friday prayers to show their support for Obama, he said. Those aren't Episcopalians praying on Friday.

"Hussein Obama’s big mouth, small brain, condescending, America-hating, grandkid-baby-terminating, born-alive-infant-abandoning, America-hating-wife, kooky-moonbat-America-hating-pastor, racially-divisive, race-baiting, crotch-saluting, America-flag-disrespecting ... chickens ... coming home to roost ...!"

"Bittergate" is a Wright-size problem!!

You can't win a general election with a coalition of America hating African- Americans and America hating white liberal elitist billionaires/millionaires, who buy brie, Chardonnay, and Hussein Obama/Samma.

For an inside look at the real Hussein Obama and his elite hate America backers at San Francisco where Hussein Obama made his elitist remarks,

Go here to see the thread with all The Pictures posted and Here to see another thread about this meeting of elite left wing America haters.

There are some very interesting pictures and comments re the actual meeting on those threads.

You should have given the FULL quote from the female Obamanation:

"Obama talked about growing up in a small apartment on Chicago's South Side and how her father supported her family with his job at a city sanitary plant. She said she was a proud product of the Chicago Public Schools system.

"When they look at me and see perhaps the next first lady of the United States," she said, "I want to be a constant reminder of what an investment in public education can look like."

Rarely have I seem a better case made for getting government out of the education business.

“When they look at me and see perhaps the next first lady of the United States,”

Silly woman, it is NOT her looks that presents the problem, it is what is behind the looks that proceeds out of her mouth that causes her issues. Pride goeth before the fall... guess Rev J Wright never got around to that message.
