It got worse when Gibson asked about capital-gains tax rates, which Obama has pledged to raise. When Gibson repeatedly pointed out that decreasing the rates actually increased the revenues, Obama simply couldn’t come up with an answer, stammering while trying to change the subject.

Yeah, they were lying bigtime, blaming Bush’s “tax cut for the rich” for the state of Social Security,

when the revenues increased, and the rich actually paid a BIGGER PERCENTAGE of the tax burden due to the decreased rates.

This is the line I use against libs on this topic -
Since revenues have been shown, every time, to increase whenever the rates are reduced, your argument for higher taxes must not be about revenue. It must be about your need for control, or some sort of childish jealous vindictiveness that you’ve been brainwashed into by the democrats.
Got another explanation? errr stammer uh...
