During my freshman year at college I had the “opportunity” to share a Sociology class with such a woman. She accused an unnamed, white classmate of staring at her constantly... right out of the blue and on the first day of the course. There was racism here... and it needed to be addressed. She was spitting mad.

Needless to say... the professor(Edinburgh graduate) didn't need any prodding to give a blanket-lecture to us all on the ramifications of such racist behavior. We just sat there with our jaws on the floor... wondering who this despicable “white person” was.

Funny thing was... she never showed up again after the second class. But the(perceived/imagined/created) “racist white person” lived on in anonymity.
