Lib central up there. A big part of my family lives there. Maine never really recovered from the late 1960s / 1970s when a huge wave of moonbats decided to ‘ get back to the land ‘.
I also recently heard that 40 % of the state is on some type of assistance.

I heard the 40% of the state on assistance story too. I also know for a fact that the largest employer in the state of Maine is State Social Services.

Maine is more dysfunctional that Michigan, but it’s out of the way location and small population keep it out of the national news.
