Awww..so warm and fuzzy!
FR went out for us all.
Looking forward to it mainly because I get to sleep later than 0430 and I’ll get to see some place I’ve never been.
No so much looking forward to the hectic prepping and work schedule.
Have fun in the yard, but don’t over do it.
I haven’t seen the coyote today..That’s a plus, too.
One year ago, people around the world were stunned by a shooting rampage that left 32 victims dead on the campus of Virginia Tech University. In the aftermath, the mother of one critically wounded student who survived said she did not want the ordeal to become the defining moment in her son's life. Instead, she hoped it could be "something positive, some great celebration of his life."
When the unthinkable happens, it may seem impossible to believe that anything can overcome the emotional scars. Yet, the life of Joseph offers a powerful illustration of God's transforming power (Gen. 3750). The brothers who sold him into slavery were sure he would take revenge on them (50:15-17). But Joseph told them, "You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive" (v.20).
When we place our desire for revenge in God's hands, we become participants in the remarkable process described by Paul: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Rom. 12:21).
The defining moments of our lives are not determined by the evil done to us, but by our response through the grace and power of God.
Amen
Good Morning The Mayor :)
Thank you.
Amen..Thank you, Mayor, for our Daily Bread..I love that dog.
;o)
Hope your day goes well.I saw a Hummingbird..no coyote this morning..Maybe he’s gone..I hope so.
It’s a bit scary to have a coyote around. I hope you never see him again.
That sure is great sleeping past 4:30 am! :) I hope the work schedule goes smooth. I’ll try not to over do but you know me.
Good morning to my two favorite posters. : )
Looks like all of us will be enjoying a nice day, we deserve it. I wish we had more hummingbirds up here they are tough to find. I saw them quite a bit in Tucson.
Coyotes are a nuisance, we used to see and hear them all the time in Tucson. Up here I occasionally hear them but hardly ever see them.
Problem is we live on an island and the population of coyotes is growing. I never really heard packs of them until last year. Now at night we can hear them in the woods.
;o)
I have seen gorgeous Hummingbird pictures that are from near Tuscon..
If I saw a pack of coyotes I would REALLY be worried about my other critters in the neighborhood.
Thank you, Mr. Mayor, for the Bible reading and devotional today!
We need to kill them off. They can be a real problem if let run loose in communities.
Awwww so sweet..Good morning, Jaycee.
And that is where a big problem is, they will go after smaller animals and also get into your trash in search for food.
Your very welcome Jaycee, Thank you.
My trash is always in the garage except on trash day but I do worry about the critters and pet cats.
We have raccoons here and they would be after the trash, too.
The raccoons “wash up” in my birdbath so I have to clean it every morning.
Thank you Meg and Good Morning to you. Your carousel post is beautiful!
