“I think that he thinks both were created by Satan.”

Oh, no doubt he does. But I do remember a pamphlet that I recall made the claim that Catholics created the Muslims on purpose and with evil intent, a secret conspiracy to persecute Jews and so sieze Jerusalem for the Pope.

As to which Satan-based group J. Chick loathes more, I reckon the Catholics have it all over the Muslims. The Muslims don’t distribute the “Death Cookie” or keep the name of every non-Catholic Christian’s name in a Vatican supercomputer for reference in the coming persecution. I still say he and his would love to see Rome crushed by Islam.

Do you recall which one it was? I’ll look it up on his webiste and see.

At any event, while I myself have serious doctrinal issues with the Catholic Church, I do not doubt that they are Christians. And all such differences fade into total insignificance compared with my differences, doctrinal and political with Islam.

And I think the vast majority of Evangelicals feel the same way. We are not one institution, nor a monolithic bloc. There are even liberals who call themselves Evangelical Christians. I can hardly wrap my m ind around the concept.

Then there are the liberation theologists of the Catholic Church, who thought Jesus was a proto-Marxist.

So go figure.

Keep up the good fight.

Did you forget to take your meds? My father is still getting mail, and he's been dead for 35 years. The Readers Digest is still wondering why my mother doesn't renew her subscription and she's been dead for five years. What computer is capable of producing an accurate reference list? The “Death Cookie”???? Excuse me?

I have to say, this election year has me flummoxed. I've never seen such ugly rhetoric in my lifetime and I was born into a segregated, WASP America. I've got to say all of this tin-foil, bogeyman crap is enough. I plan on not being home or “receiving guests” when all this lunacy comes to pass. I don't care which way the wind blows. I and mine are for the Lamb of God and the rest of the fence sitters can beat their brains into mush until we put the final solution into action. It will be, by the way, final.
