I, for one, am just about fed up with MS shoving a “new” and “improved” OS on me every couple of years, then pulling the rug out from under me when I buy it. I am seriously considering a MAC..................

There were five years between XP and Vista. Care to re-think that comment?

Why do folks feel compelled to buy this stuff? I am using Win2k Pro and Server and I am just totally satisfied with it. Who cares if M$ supports it. It doesn’t need support as far as I am concerned.

It is the same wit all these vendors. bright lights and bells. I am using IDE’s that I bought in 1999 and developing apps for
XP, Vista etc. No bells and whistles.

I agree, I have grown very weary of being forced to purchase their new OS, all so this guy can make another 20 billion.

When XP is gone and not supported, we’ll be looking for another OS. End of story.
