He just got it backwards though. It's religion - i.e., Christ and the Holy Spirit - that clings to the faithful.

"I am with you always even until the end of the world." - Matthew 28:20

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." - Matthew 16:18

If the gates of hell cannot prevail against it, Barack Obama and Alan Colmes won't be able to make it stop clinging.

If they are worried about xenophobia they need look no further than Rev. Wright.

Absolutley. And as far as ‘clinging to religion’, this guy hangs around Rev. Wright for 20 years. Must have been fed something he liked. The puzzle pieces seem to be coming together on Obama.
