excellent! i love your humor doug. thanks.
a scene from small town life: why did the chicken cross the road?
Hopefully he’s stepped in it up to his brown eyes. But watch, the screaming media will try and probably suceed to bail him out. He is their messaih.
Hope you can get Rush or Hannity to air this. It deserves nationwide exposure every day until the NC Primary.
So howd it go at the unemployment office today, Jim-Bob?
Im so dang frustrated! The government isnt listening to me! Wheres my dang gun, Shirley?
Where it always is, next to the potatoes in the pantry. Can you explain your frustrations, Jim-Bob?
Yeah! Ill explain em! Watch this!
Blam! Blam! Blam!
Would you watch out with that thing? Theres another hole in the water heater, and you almost hit the damn parakeet!
Well too bad I didnt hit one a them durn immigrants! Theyre all diffrunt from me!
Well dear, you know theres a tent revival tonight, at least thats something we can cling to.
I dont know Shirley. If only there was some way we could bring about a a change in America.
Well now that you mention it Jim-Bob, I was watchin the tee-vee over at the hairdressers today, and there was this nice young man on with some kind of funny A-rab soundin name. I didnt understand what he was sayin, but whatever it was made me feel good inside, like there was hope again.
Ohhhh yeah. That negro fellow at the bowlin alley. First time Ive ever seen a negro at the bowlin alley, huh.
Well thats just it. Such an articulate young man. Even though I didnt understand nothin, it was like, I felt like I was floatin up on a big fluffy cloud, with all the immigrants, and everybody else, even that blockhead brother of yours. And we were all friends, there was this, like, unity.
Wow Shirley thats great! If only there was someone like that in the central govmint as the President! Someone that would listen to my concerns for a change!
Well maybe there can be now, Jim-Bob. Why dont you put that gun down, and lets eat these beans, before they get cold.
I’ve tried for years. Sean actually has played THE BALLAD OF MIKE MORAN several times.
If someone wants to sing this and make an MP3 on their computer, I’ll put together a YouTube.
same reason as Obama’s grandma. See, he was white and there were these black guys, and it was sort of an inbred response and all.
I do not think it is unfair to compare you to Bob Dylan, the greatest song writer of our generation. But it wouldn't take much to be a better singer. For the record, Dylan could outsing me on his worst day if I were at my best. You can't possibly be as bad a singer as I am.
You haven’t heard me. Fortunate for you.
No, it wouldn’t hurt one little bit!
You aren’t the Cowboy Bob from WTTV are you?
Don’t worry, our conservative voices will stay on it. But I was really pleasantly amazed that Friday, Lou Dobbs devoted virtually the whole program to covering it!
Thanks Doug. I live in one of those small towns, and we take our God and our guns very seriously. One thing that makes people like me and my neighbors bitter is big city politicians telling us how or why we feel the way we do. I love God because He is God, and I treasure the Second Amendment because it enables me to protect and defend the First Amendment.
Hilarious - I forwarded to all my conservative buds (and even a couple who aren’t - conservative, that is) :-))
Dear Barack,
Thought you would like to know, that although we are bitter as we cling to our religion we don’t curse out America, preach “White Theology”, or invoke the KKK.
We’re just typical white folks...
No. I took my "handle" from a professor I had at Tulane Law School. His name was Bob Force. The students always referred to his as Cowboy Bob...He was VERY Liberal. I didn't care much for him, but I took his name!
Another song is coming in the morning by REM.
Newt Gingrich:
If you go to the most expensive private school in Hawaii and then move on to Columbia University and Harvard Law School, you may not understand normal Americans. Their beliefs are so alien to your leftwing viewpoint that you have to seek some psychological explanation for what seem to be weird ideas.
They cant really believe in the right to bear arms.
They cant really believe in traditional marriage.
They cant really believe in their faith in God.
They cant really want to enforce the law on immigration.
Therefore, they must be bitter and frustrated.
This is the closest Senator Obama has come to openly sharing his wifes view that America is a mean country. Not since Governor Dukakis have we seen anyone so out of touch with normal Americans. It makes perfect sense that it was in a fundraiser in San Francisco that he would have shared the views he has so carefully kept hidden for the entire campaign.
