Anyone else here claim to be able to hit a cat from that far away ?

Nope, my longest shot on a feline was maybe 50 feet with a .22 rifle. Used to get them closer with a 12 ga especially when pheasant hunting. They are death on rabbits and birds. We have house cats now, but they run when the door is opened. I think they would have a heart attack if they were ever thrown outside.

Ditto that. I’ve wanted to plink away on some of the neighborhood cats, for exactly that reason, but I think the neighbors would get annoyed. I did chase one out of the yard, to its house 3-4 houses away, and mildly blessed out the owner. She didn’t know *what* to think.
