Well, I’m pleased about this. The last time I looked we still were not there, and it saddened me.

I was like so many of you who found FR thru his “Whitewater”, and upset when the ‘rift’ came.

But, if we are back, I say “Thanks Matt”!

I should probably wait until I read the entire thread, but if memory serves me at all, Matt was very upset by some of the posters in here who questioned his lifestyle.

The Drudge Report was how I first became aware of Free Republic. I knew with a name like that something had to be good inside that link. Little did I realize how good it would be. So many OUTSTANDING people who were like-minded in many ways. An honest intellectual oasis in a troubled world.
