Mayhill Fowler has more from Obama's remarks at a San Francisco fundraiser Sunday, and they include an attempt to explain the resentment in small-town Pennsylvania that won't be appreciated by some of the people whose votes Obama's seeking:
You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
That's pretty broad list of things to explain with job loss.
“At issue are comments Obama made privately at a fundraiser in San Francisco last Sunday. He explained his troubles winning over working class voters, saying they have become frustrated with economic conditions:”
Obama said the above, does it enter into his little brain that maybe people do not like what he is saying he will do and that is why he can’t win them over?
I’m pretty sure when I was a little baby I was baptized for the economy.
cling ping for small town clingers only. If Obama loses the caucasian vote, he’s done it to himself.
I suspect Obama is to the left of him.
I wonder if Hissie Matthews, Oberstupid, and all of purists had a “jingle “ in their legs afer hearing this latest racist remark. This guy is out the school of Malcomn X and is being portrayed by the Nazi media as a JFK moderate. I hope of the the “pursits “ who still oppose Mccain finally WAKE the fuc- up.
I am one who will never wake up. McCain will do more damage to the party than Bush if he gets his agenda through. If the public wants Obama and socialism then let them experience what Western Europe is suffering from, the faster our public learns the hard way, the faster a conservative movement can take place.
Europe has been socialist for over a century. So be careful what you wish for. Also, for many people in Europe, socialism delivers what they consider a pleasant lifestyle ... we wouldn't .... but they ain't gonna change it. Their most "conservative" pols would be considered lefties here.
This guy is no rabble rouser. He's an Affirmative Action preppie wannabe gangsta. Betcha he has a Che Guevara Tee Shirt.
PS this is the absolute weirdest election cycle I have ever lived through and I started with my Dad backing Wendell Wilkie!
“And Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism”
Totalitarian Socialist run America.... thats a hard left that I don’t want to see in my lifetime.
I would be more than happy to take anything that John McCain offers over the corvee labor that the Obama’s want...
Remember you too can be put on the Obama plantation... Its just a matter of how you vote or don’t vote come NOV.
BOOKMARK
Yes, they are laughing at us. They take us for fools, enabling their socialist gravy train to keep on chugging down the tracks.
Right behind you in line!
That's the sad truth of it. I'm working hard to get Obama nominated so McCrisis can win, and he's going to turn around and do basically the same thing regarding amnesty. The trade-off is, we finally get the last justice we need to send Roe back to the states. It's a beggar's bargain.
This story has legs. B.Hussein Obama is toast he has peaked twice now in the last 12 months and has no more messanic negromagic left to woo the..gullibles.
At least Hillary only hates conservative Americans. The Obama crowd hates all typical white Americans!
Obama takes careful aim at his foot, and fires!
Also, post #231 on this thread sums it up.
