An upcoming joint US-Israel report on the September 6 IAF strike on a Syrian facility will claim that former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein transferred weapons of mass destruction to the country, Channel 2 stated Monday.

Despite the labels and the rhetoric, this entire WOT and incursion into Iraq has been nothing more than a police action.
And until you cut off the source of the problem, this 'war' will NEVER end.
As Golda Meir once said, "Until they love their children more than they hate us, there will never be peace".
Outlaw violent teachings...outlaw tribal law....and peace can be achieved. Absent that, nothing but a horrific nuclear event will stop this crap.
Apparently, this Breaking News Story isn’t nearly as important, as the Capture of the Murdering Fugitive Marine, which deserves a spot in Breaking News.
That is great news. This is important news.
Important news with worldwide repercussions a long time coming.
Who decides what goes and stays from Breaking?
Taken out of Breaking, out of the sidebar and buried.
We really are our own worst enemies. Unbelievable.
Wow was he captured? I gotta go....
The greatest lie used to undermine the war effort and turn the American public against the fight... finally we get something official to refute the lie, and one sidebar moderator kills it in a matter of minutes.
I’d really like to know what’s going on here, too. If this isn’t Breaking News, nothing is.
“Taken out of Breaking, out of the sidebar and buried.
We really are our own worst enemies. Unbelievable.”
Why is this unbelievable? Again, no report has come out. This little blurb has been on the JP since April 7th. Nothing new here....hence...not breaking news.
One thing's certain -- Saddam had plenty of time to get his arsenal out of there while we were messing around trying to get UN backing.
This is the 3rd or 4th time this article has broken on FR.
The administration missed it being shipped to Syria so it doesn’t count. /s
From the backlash I am seeing on the thread, it seems this article has been posted at least three times since April 7. This is the first time I saw it posted, but for those who have seen it over and over (not necessarily those pinged here), I offer no apologies for not understanding why this story, or its source, doesn’t seem to be taken seriously.
It’s unbelievable because it never appeared in Breaking. Then, it finally does and starts generating some interest and discussion, and it’s killed in minutes.
I don’t care if it’s three days old. It was never in Breaking News here, which is where the vast majority of traffic goes. If it was a blurb about a joint US/Israeli report saying Saddam had no WMD, you’d better believe ABDCBCNBCCNNMSNBC and the NYT would be leading with it using selective leaked talking points every day until the report came out.
If we were smart, we’d keep the story in the forefront until the report came out and this thread would have a couple thousand posts by then. We would be generating the interest in the report. We would be making sure it isn’t DOA when it comes out. Our entire problem is we don’t confront the left’s lies, because we don’t know how.
Oh, I take it seriously, I’m just guessing why it got moved.
No clue.
I guess JPost became the new Pravda (?) or Newsmax or World Net Daily.
I didn’t know either that this story had been posted before.
I still don’t understand why it wasn’t really advertised. This is BIG.
If FR want to make pressure on the media to cover the story, it has to be posted OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
Or the Pentagon will classify the report and soldiers in Iraq will fight against muslims in front and Democrats in the back.
It was never in Breaking. The Breaking News sidebar is FR’s version of Page 1.
This is Page 1 news. We should be fighting like hell to keep it there. The truth is that important.
Understand... and thank you. I was trying to speak in general about the tone of the thread/discussion in some of the posts I had skimmed trying to follow it all. Sorry if I implied otherwise.
No, that’s not him.
This was an American conservative author...
He wrote a book and in that book he itemized the different WMD’s that were found in Iraq...
I asked the moderator to put the thread on Breaking line again. Hope he will agrees.
My son’s squad found sarin gas IED’s in ‘03-’04. Also new weapons with French markings.
It’s in page 2 of BN.
I haven’t even heard FNC mention it.
