“As a global company,” she pedantically droned, “we recognize that people in different parts of the world may lend different perspectives or interpret our ads in a different way than was intended in that market. Obviously, this ad was run in Mexico, and not the U.S. — that ad might have been very different.”

Wha –Wha – Wha!?

You weren’t supposed to see that!!!!

“Obviously, this ad was run in Mexico, and not the U.S. — that ad might have been very different.”

It’s seldom that you catch a liberal being so open about what they habitually do: speak out of different sides of their mouths to different audiences, and use their leverage with the Leftwing Press to prevent the wrong audience from hearing the wrong side.

If not for the internet, this Absolut ad wouldn’t have crossed the border, literal or metaphorical. Certainly the Leftwing Press would not have reported it. As Malkin suggests, the Leftwing Press is deeply committed to pretending that this whole business doesn’t exist, except in the minds of paranoid right wingers.

I direct them to the speech given two weeks ago in San Bernardino by Hillary Clinton campaign co-chair Dolores Huerta, who railed, “We didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us” and gloated that immigration enforcement is moot because the reconquista is won. “It’s really too late,” Huerta said. “If 47 million (Latinos) have one baby each . . . it’s already won.”>p? The children of illegals should be illegal. This issue doesn't even register on the importance scale for the election - all everyone cares about is the economy or the war - while the "old US" is losing the war at home.
