Here's my formal invitation to all UT denizens to join me in the fun! Host a BBQ! Stoke a bon fire! Chill the wine using your home A/C! Hang festive lights! Throw the recycling in the regular trash!
Generally do everything possible to grab the enviro-whack set by the tail and pull their fur the wrong way.
Ooooohhhhh! That’s an invitation I can’t refuse! I’ll do all of the above, as well as sit in the parking lot in my truck and gun the engine while I light up cigarettes I won’t smoke.
Then I’ll go to the community room and prop all the doors open so the A/C runs out into the air. And I’ll set my thermostat to 65, which is as low as it will go! And open my doors and windows.

I’ll light a bunch of candles, even though it doesn’t get dark until almost 10:00 p.m., and have Bill mow the lawn, and run the dishwasher!
