Government Media Blitz to Attract Illegals Unveiled
American Conservative Union ^ | 4/11/2008 | Staff

Posted on 04/11/2008 4:25:28 AM PDT by fweingart

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom recently said, "We're inviting people to come out of the shadows and take advantage of services."

Newsom could have said -- just as easily -- that he's inviting people to come out of the shadows and take advantage of the taxpayers!

Believe it or not, the City of San Francisco just launched a $83,000 public relations campaign that will actively encourage waves of illegal aliens to sneak across the border.

This media blitz will include television and radio ads, billboards and bus signs and brochures distributed at police stations and hospitals.

And what's the goal? Simply put it is to assure illegal aliens that they will have safe access to ALL city services -- no questions asked, no IDs checked... services that are supported by the tax dollars of hard-working Americans and legal immigrants all over the country.

To put it in other words, this ad campaign might as well say:

If you're an illegal alien, welcome to San Francisco. Make it your home because we ask no questions! If you come here, hard-working American citizens and legal immigrants will pick up your bills from cradle to grave!

Don't worry about working, we'll give you welfare. Don't worry about hospital bills, taxpaying Americans have got that covered for you. Don't worry about educating your children; you won't have to pay a dime and we'll even instruct them in YOUR language so there's no need to worry about something as silly as assimilating.

And if hard-working taxpayers don't like it... TOUGH... They don't have a thing to say about it because we can act with impunity!

How long will it take for other sanctuary cities across the country to follow San Francisco's in-your-face example!

It doesn't have to be this way. YOU CAN SAY SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!

The American people are boiling mad because Representative Marsha Blackburn's Clear Act of 2007, which has 137 co-sponsors and will CUT OFF FUNDS to these so-called sanctuary cities is still stuck in committee after six months.

There is no more excuse to wait. Failure to act will only be seen by these sanctuary cities as a green light to act with impunity and waste more hard-earned tax dollars -- my tax dollars -- to fund the mass migration of illegal aliens into the United States!

Insanity! National suicide being committed by 'some' of our elected imbeciles.

Thanks to Nancy Pelosi and her leftist allies, the CLEAR Act of 2007 will still be stuck in committee until their power is cut off!

And from this link....

There goes the neighborhood

To Kotkin, San Francisco is the quintessential ephemeral city, functioning more as a cultural center and magnet for those drawn to the perks of city living-affluent empty-nesters, younger college graduates, gays-than an engine of economic growth and opportunity. He points to the exodus of corporate headquarters from the city, such that barely one in 10 of the Bay Area's top companies is now actually based in San Francisco, and the fact that it has the fewest children per capita of any major city in the country.

Go figure.

Back in the late 19th century in Northern Michigan, county sheriffs would round up bums, hoboes, con-men and other undesirables who mooched off the community and threw them on trains bound for Detroit, with a warning that returning to the community would entail serious consequences to their well-being.

Sometimes our forefathers had really, really good ideas. The trains still run and we now have buses, too. And most sheriffs are still elected and accountable to the voter, not some political hack in city hall.

We are well on the way to becoming a third world Spanish speaking country and all three presidential candidates support this.

I support the building of a wall around Kalifornia & giving it back to Mexico.

Kalifornia obviously has some kind of toxic pollution w/i its borders that makes people insane, stupid, & queer.

If we don't give it back to Mexico, it will wind up costing this country trillions to detoxify, with no guarantee of success.

Reno used to do the same sending then to SF or SLC. ACLU got some judge to stop it and now we are getting a$$ deep in them and it has become such a problem the City Council has to deal with it.

Offer them free food, free medical care, free housing, free education - whatever - but they need to get on the bus and go to San Francisco (or the nearest sanctuary city).

People voluntarily hopping on a bus and travelling elsewhere can’t be stopped by a judge or the ACLU.

If that fails, the founding fathers left instructions and examples of how to deal with Tory judges.

why should we give up our ports and gold mines?

How about we just buy the rest of mexico and then we can just remodel the south.

The CA ports are soon to lose a lot of business. Mexico is building a huge port in Baja. Ships can be loaded/unloaded for a fraction of the cost of a CA port. Plus, containers will be loaded on Mexican trucks & driven to anywhere in the US or Canada, again, at a much cheaper cost.

As for buying Mexico, they'd be better off paying us to take them as the next 10 or so states.

I sure would NOT pay for it!
