| CINCINNATI, April 10, 2008 Its reasonable to think servicemembers deployed the world over might be missing Girl Scout cookies again this year, but thats not necessarily the case.
More than 150 soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines soon will be enjoying Girl Scout cookies and other goodies thanks to the Thank You Foundation and several members of the greater Cincinnati community. |

Yeah my best friend whom is in the Army and oversea’s right now said his camp got some boxes of Girl Scout cookies, they were very appricative and happy to get ;-}
Girl Scouts in Arizona sent 4000 boxes to the troops last month.
This is a story about one or several groups of generous girls but I can tell you there are thousands of such donations by literally hundreds of GS troops- including mine, and we can’t all be in the news
Well done to ALL the girls who contributed gift of caring cookies to troops, senior citizens, poilice, firemen, and other worthy recipients
*applause*
I believe that Fort Huachuca was the point of export for the Arizona effort. When I bought my cookies I was asked if I wanted to buy some for the troops too, which I was happy to do, that's how they built up the shipment by getting donations as they sold to their customers base.
