28% is still surprisingly high. That’s lots of people. W has absolutely nothing going for him.

George Bush II will go down in history as the worst of a triad of totally incompetent Presidents - Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II.

Oh of course, we have to have at least 1 Bush-basher on every thread for it to be complete! Good Grief!

My guess is there are a lot of Bush Basher out there and far more than at the beginning of his second term. Some of the most vigorous Bush Bashers were Bush boosters until he stabbed us in the back over a entire host of issues.

I’m not given to hero worship when it comes to politicians.
As long as they are doing a good job, I support them. But if they screw up I owe them nothing. Technically they work for me.

survey released Thursday showed just 28 percent approve of the overall job he is doing. . . .

And, this is compared to the Democrat run Congress approval rating of . . . . . . ?????

I'm not a Bush fan, but you are quite right. I'll bet he polls better than the Asspress.

YES - thats it. At least that is who the democrats think they’re running against in the ‘08 election. We can only hope they keep it up ;o)

Considering the constant drumbeat of negativity and outright hatred the dims and the press have lobbed at him since day one, a lousy economy, runaway Federal spending and his ridiculous position on illegal immigration, I’d say 28% is pretty darn good.
