Time for Cowboys and Muslims. :)
Ping!
Sound great!
In a large city like Dallas, and the surrounding areas, I would imagine there are a couple million people in the region, with thousand of business that willingly hire tens of thousands of illegal aliens.
Could you or someone post the list of all business owners, and managers and the number of these business owners and managers that have been prosecuted, jailed, and fined?
Thanks!
Hi there.
Maybe you could help me out with the numbers in regards to #46.
Thanks!
Whoops, 47 was meant for you.
I’m looking forward to seeing the “official” numbers, backed by that “official” warning.
Thanks!
GOOD!
He has always had a talented brain wrt graphics.
No need in letting the great ones collect dust.
I’d like to see THAT, too. If anyone posts it, please let me know.
Thanks!

Recent prosecutions include those against officers or managers at pallet-maker IFCO Systems, a division of a Dutch company with plants in Dallas and around the U.S. raided in April 2006.
Twelve officers or managers have been charged and seven have pleaded guilty, Ms. Myers said. Five others were charged this year and are awaiting trial, she said.
“They are innocent until proven guilty,” she told her audience, but many will be watching the IFCO case.
The investigation began when an IFCO employee called ICE to report that workers were ripping up W-2 payroll and tax forms, Ms. Myers said.
“The boss said, ‘Don’t worry. They are illegal aliens and they don’t need W-2s,’ “ Ms. Myers recounted.
In another case, Ms. Myers said, brazen managers at one firm purchased fake green cards for employees. Attorney Steve Ladik, moderator of Wednesday’s event, added that the firm then accounted for the green card costs as a “recruiting expense.”
More followed that little snippet:

Ms. Myers’ speech was followed by a panel on “survival tools and tips,” sponsored by the Dallas office of Berry, Appleman & Leiden.
As the session ended, Michael Leatherwood, who runs restaurants in the Dallas area, said he was shamed by the tone of the event.
Workers will be pushed farther and farther into the underground by the chain of toughening enforcement measures, he told the panelists.
Mr. Leatherwood took issue with Ms. Myers’ comments about business owners.
“I have very long-term employees, and we wouldn’t have them if we didn’t take care of our employees,” Mr. Leatherwood said. “Kitchen employees could get $12 to $13 an hour with benefits, for example.”
Ira Mehlman, spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, which advocates for immigration restrictions, commended ICE ‘s actions.
“Employers need to know they can’t operate with impunity,” he said. “There are errors in the database, but they are correctable.”

Twelve officers or managers have been charged
This is the official number, behind the official warning? Is this for real?
One thing that would also help greatly would be to put a very large tax on transfers of money out of the country.
