What Went Wrong with the Clinton Campaign ("What we are talking about here is plain old arrogance")

[snip]

There is no doubt that it has been a poorly run campaign.

[snip]

As you well know, Obama has a huge lead in pledged delegates. But you might not know that nearly 90% of this lead comes from caucuses. Obama has netted 147 delegates via the caucuses alone.

It need not have been this way. Caucuses have exceedingly low turnout - and so victory depends upon organizational prowess. Clinton was poorly organized in the caucus states, and it cost her. For every caucus state she has lost, Clinton could have found enough supporters in those states to at least tied Obama. This is the case even in states where Obama would win a broad-based primary. In Kansas, for instance, Obama had about 18,000 more caucus supporters than Clinton. Grant that Kansas is a state Obama would win in a primary. Shouldn't Clinton have been able to find 18,000 more people? She received less than 10,000 votes for goodness sake!

Even more amazingly, Obama crushed her in states where Clinton probably would have won or barely lost a primary. Obama netted 15 delegates on her in Colorado. He netted 6 in Maine. I'd put the odds of Clinton winning primaries in those states at no less than 50-50. Clinton won the Texas primary outright, but Obama walked away with 9 more delegates in the caucus. Obama won 26 more delegates than Clinton in Washington state. One week later, he beat Clinton in the Washington state beauty contest by just 4 points. Clinton won a clear plurality of voters in the Nevada entrance poll, but Obama walked away with a net of one delegate.

How can the ingrates choose him when she is running?

Don’t the people understand that Mrs. Clinton is the chosen one?
Don’t the people understand that Mrs. Clinton knows what is best for them?

Geeze, I just watched a clip of Bill and Hill walk on stage for the Elton John concert. They looked like they were wearing matching suits. Wait until Freepers get their hands on that photo.

Dogs and their owners invariably grow to look like one another, after a few years. ;)

Problem #1: Hillary Rodham Clinton
Problem #2: Bill Clinton

Given those two problems, it is hard to make a candidacy work.

The total populations of the states Clinton has won are significantly greater than the populations of the states Obama has.

Clinton is right when she claims her wins are bigger than Obama’s.

True, but (in the final analysis) largely irrelevant, really. States won by Cankles such as, for instance, California and New York will unquestionably end up going for the Democratic nominee, no matter which one of them (Hillary or Obama) it ends up being. Her argument — essentially, “only I can win the biggest electoral prizesn out there” — doesn’t really hold much water. (Throw in Illinois, which is Obama’s for the asking, and you have three of the top five electoral plums, right there.) ;)

will this family ever go away!

It creates a quandary: Give Hillary Clinton the Oval Office, or at least the nomination, or give it to Barak Hussein Obama.

Wanna bet that, if Obama does win the presidency, we will see Michelle O running for the Senate after her stint as First Lady? Heck. She might even fore-go the FL position and seek appointment to the Senate seat hubby would be vacating.

So, which is worse?

It is UNBELIEVABLY MIND BOGGLING

That ANY

sentient creature

could imagine

that her unroyal lowness, her hideous heinous

would run the country better than she has

destructively mangled her own campaign.

Have the puppet masters already reduced 98% of the nation into mindless vacuum headed sheeple?

Is it in the toothpaste? Transmitting from cell-phone towers . . .

How DO

they DO

THAT!?

The fierce demonic evil and meanness of Shrillery is worse.

Maybe not by several horse lengths but at least by a horse’s rear’s worth.

She’d rush us into the global government at the speed of light.

Obumma would be somewhat slower.
