To really see the canyon in all it's glory, you need to hike to the bottom. You wont regret it!
I’ve been here 32 years and haven’t been there. Of course I live in Tucson so while I’m in the same state as the Canyon by political division it’s still a long way away, most European countries would fit between the Canyon and Tucson. And there is absolutely no way I’d hike the canyon, ever, way to vertical, way to long, way too much pain.
