I’m so tired of this nonissue. The video shows that he’s singing. (And wasn’t that rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” just dreadful? Why can’t people just sing the song and quit messing it up?)
Obama said that he puts his hand on his heart for the pledge and sings the song. Jeesh! That’s what I was taught to do 50 years ago in Chicago public schools. I’ve never put my hand on my heart for the “Star Spangled Banner”; I just do that for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Let’s stick to the valid reasons for criticizing Obama. And there are more than enough.
AMEN! The more folks concentrate on silly reasons for distrusting him, others, who might otherwise be against his political stances, won't listen to those IMPORTANT reasons not to support him.
