Where's the ACLU on this separation of church and state?
And, American citizens taxes are being used to fund this school so there should be NO religious affiliation or religion taught at this charter school.
If the Muslims get away with this then I suggest that Christians introduce the morning prayer back into the public schools.... And, the Department of Education needs to pony up taxes to send to ALL Catholic, Christian, and Jewish schools the same amount of funding retroactive to the funding afforded this Muslim charter school.

Post of the day, in my opinion. Dead right.
This is going to be the wedge issue on this whole topic. Either tell the bombthrowers they have to privately fund the school, or start shelling out for Catholic and Christian schools.

sshhhh - you’re not supposed to tell anybody about the double standard. Taxpayers are too busy working to care about such things.

Right on!!! IMO, the AC-effing-LU only concerns itself with “separation of chruch and state” when the religion is Christianity and probaly also Orthodox Judaism. Everyone else gets a free pass.

Where's the ACLU on this separation of church and state? What, you don't read your own posts?
From the article: "In addition, schools cannot favor one religion by offering services for only its adherents, or promote after-school religious instruction for only one group. The ACLU of Minnesota has launched an investigation of TIZA, and the Minnesota Department of Education has also begun a review."
