I grew up in the east Bay Area and this picture really makes me home sick. Even being an ex-Californian it's easy to think there is nothing at all redeeming about the Golden State, but then you see pictures like this and it's no wonder that Reagan loved her so much.
Every time I'm back in the Bay Area, I have said many times "you know if this place weren't so $#@$#-ed up, I could live here again."

Zombietime is one of the best at simple in depth reporting with quality pictures that tell the story quite well.
That was a wonderful post. I really enjoyed the pictures and commentary, especially the fashion observations.

Your point decribes the situation perfectly, but unfortunately the superb reporting and photos from zombietime will never see the daylight in the lamestream press. There is no change...hussein obama is just another player in the dark back room of politics...his only problem is that he isn’t important enough to enter through the front door with all the other paying guests...he is just a another poor beggar politician who must use the servants’ entrance...beggin’ for bucks just like a true whore...what a f’n joke!!!!

You have more restraint than I do. I would have pointed out that if Barack Obama would have walked through that neighborhood four years ago wearing a FUBU jersey ringing doorbells, he'd have been in the back of the patrol cruiser of the cop you photographed him shaking hands with.
I's also like to know why Barack Obama didn't decide to make a side trip to shake hands for free in Hunter's Point while he was in San Francisco.

Out here in the Gay Frisco area, if a person is really rich both new and old money, they are probably uber liberal.
These a$$holes are among the most arrogant and demanding rectums of the world. Most have never really worked, raised a family, served in the military, worried about paying taxes and the costs of raising children and educating them.
These uber elites are fascists like those who controlled Germany, Italy and Spain in the late 1930’s to the end of WWII. They are not socialists nor communists like those who serve them and voted for their candidates.
They hate capitalism as that could mean competition to their fortunes. They hate the military and a strong America.
They hate Christians and real Jews. They hate us probably more than anyone as we stand in the way them controlling America and the world totally.
