One of Joseph’s fruits is the current practice of polygamy by 100,000 fundamentalist Mormons in the United States. One thing is for sure - If it wasn’t for Joseph Smith, there wouldn’t be thousands of Fundamentalist Mormon families practicing it today.

We’ve had case after case of false accusations from them, all over the country. Some innocent people died in prison in Mass., as I recall. The state actually suborned perjury to get convictions, which should have sent the prosecutors to jail themselves, but they are still scot free. Anyone remember reading about the Salem witch trials? They still have them in Mass.

Now, this girl who allegedly called police. She can’t be found. Did she even exist?

How many of these poor kids are going to be placed in foster homes run by real molesters? It is NOT exactly a secret that molesters use the welfare agencies to find new victims.

We never got the whole truth about Waco, because so many of the witnesses were burned up, and the FBI wouldn’t allow any independent analysis of the post-fire evidence. Hope this will be different.

In my opinion the underlying reason for these compounds is to milk the social security and other welfare systems.

What about the constitutional rights of those who owned the property? They acted on the report of one girl. Then get the individual(s)accused. This is Nazi stromtrooper tactics. If I remember correctly, although it was not God’s will, Abraham and David had many wives, yet God did not enact capital punishment on them. In contrast, God’s judgment on Sodom was severe.

The 'report' of the one girl led the Texas CPS authorities to the compound to find her. What they found, per the affidavit (posted here on FR and also on the Smoking Gun), were dozens of underaged, pregnant girls (along with young girls who had given birth.

Storm trooper tactics? Wow. It seems the Texas officials did everything in their power to avoid another Waco.

Can you actually sit at your keyboard and defend the 'spriritual marriage' ie., statutory rape of 13 year old girls by 40+ year old men? I won't even get into the ensuing welfare fraud (400 plus kids...at about $600 each per month...do the math) as the depravity of captive young girls breeding as soon as they are physically able makes me ill. What Texas can't charge these monsters with (and I don't need the media to tell me they are monsters) the Feds will with the Mann Act.

Yes, quite possible that “Grannie” could be only 40. Today’s children (girls) would have been told by their mothers and grandmothers that this was the way it was in the world (their world anyway). Throw in the religion factor, and I imagine there are some badly mixed up little girls. The boys wouldn’t have escaped this physical & psychological torture either. “This is how women are to be treated” is probably what they have been taught. How any of these people (males, females, adults, and children) are going to be able to function “normally” in the outside world is a mystery. My heart really goes out to them. As for the leaders, Jesus said, “It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.” (Luke 17:1-3)
