The English will keep screwing around while this escalates, until they lose their cool, and have mass arrests followed with labor camps.

That is the pattern Europeans tend to follow: mess around and “deplore” until a crisis explodes, then overreact.

And yet they condemn the US for acting soon and forcefully to end small problems before they become big ones. The US has found that if it does so, it can slowly escalate its response to an appropriate level of dealing with problems, and keep them from spiraling out of control.

Compare this event to what would traditionally happen in the US (outside of liberal enclaves). The public would be outraged and demand that the government and police put an end to this immediately. The police would quickly round up offenders and put them before judges primed to treat them with appropriate harshness.

Violent gangster children would be tried as adults, and sent to adult prison for decades. Injunctions would be placed against gangs. Gang members who weren’t arrested immediately would be on notice that the slightest infraction would put them away for years. Gang hangouts would be demolished. No more “Mr. Nice Guy”. Any gang member who even showed his affiliation with the gang would be under unsympathetic police control.

The problem would be ended before anyone else died.
