Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The National Right to Life Committee has announced it is supporting eventual Republican nominee John McCain for president.
Officials from the prominent pro-life group told LifeNews.com the difference on abortion compared with the pro-abortion Democratic candidates is significant.

Do I agree with that? No, but it's the same position Scalia takes and frankly it is far, far preferable to leaving Roe intact. My hope is simply that we get five justices to overturn Roe. That's the first step. We'll likely never get five justices to issue a fiat ban on abortion. Kennedy for one certainly won't go that far, and Scalia is too federalist. That leaves us at the states level which is far preferable to having our hands perpetually tied by Roe.

Yeah right that it's from 1999 (as it clearly states) or yeah right that he
retracted it? Yeah - I am right either way.
John McCain believes Roe v. Wade is a flawed decision that must be overturned, and as president he will nominate judges who understand that courts should not be in the business of legislating from the bench.
