There’s so much crap in public schools that a truly “wacky week” would do nothing but concentrate on reading, writing, English, grammar, math, science, and critical thinking skills.

How about teaching reading, writing, maths, science, and critical thinking skills so that the children shall be prepared for a competitve global marketplace? Because the people capable are already using those skills and making a good living elsewhere.
