True, but for a while here the talking points of the Condistas was that Condi Rice is "libertarian" on abortion. It was a good way to spin it, since calling her libertarian on abortion sounded sooooo much better than saying she's liberal on abortion.
Unfortunately for Condi and her supporters, libertarianism takes no stance on the morality of abortion and whether it's right or wrong (and Libertarians themselves are all over the spectrum on this issue), so saying her stance on abortion is "libertarian" makes as much sense as proclaiming I have a "capitalist" view on the death penalty.
Thankfully the "Condi for President" crowd here got awfully quiet once their gal started shilling for the Palestian cause. Unfortunately I see there's some freeper on this thread still trying to sell people on the premise that Condi's pro-abortion views are "Exactly the same" as Bush's views on abortion. < insert twilight zone music < />
Libertarian in that she wants the states to decide whether they should ban it or not and the federal government should not be involved in that decision.

They are the same and no one has found any statement of hers indicating anything else.
"The president has been in exactly the right place about [abortion]."
