“The angels spoke to them of Christ’s return in glory”

Return means to come back to the place you left. Not to go somewhere else. Christ’s return is from Heaven, where he, ascended to as written in Acts.

As for the rest of your post, you are once again using circular logic, since if it were a true scripture, it would say it is true, and if it were a false scripture, it would still say it is true. The only yardstick by which the truth can be known is if it does not contradict the Bible, which it does, and which I have already proven.

The bible only yardstick tells me that God does not speak to man, and that His work is done, and has been for 2000 years. That is not the pattern of the Scriptures. God has always spoken to his servants, and they have written it down. That is the history of the Bible for thousands of years. The pattern is clear, and God is not dead. He is the same as He has always been.

He will indeed come in glory as he left those men in Galilee. In the meantime, he leads and guides the affairs of His kingdom on earth, and will return to Jerusalem one day to stand on Olivet and redeem Israel.
