AP Covers for Obama by Avoiding Church's, and Pastor's, Essence

Now playing defense for Team Obama: Karen Hawkins and Christopher Wills of the Associated Press, as carried in the Washington Post ("Obama Found a Home in His Church") on Thursday.

Call it a Wright-wash -- Hawkins and Wills managed to avoid any mention of the main tenets of "Black Liberation Theology" (details after the jump) that form the foundation of the belief system of the Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC). Until recently (though TUCC's Pastoral Staff page at its web site still does not reflect the supposed change), TUCC was headed by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose preaching moved presidential candidate Barack Obama to join the congregation 20 years.

The AP pair also managed to avoid any mention of often inflammatory items in weekly bulletin articles published by the Church.

Nowhere in the story's 1,200-plus words was there any mention of the Church's belief system, which was outlined by McClatchy's Margaret Tavel on March 20:

Curious: I wonder why no one has photoshopped Jeremiah Wright or even Obama into a Klan robe?

The smooth deep toned Obama cannot hide even when he picks his spots, entreating the people like a shining host, It’s not hard to figure out who’s side he’s going to land on.

It’s as plain as the day.

Farrakhan shakes his head in disbelief. Wright hides in a corner until it’s over and Michelle is simply a cranky woman.

Of course not. The Obama's, whitey and Jew hating racists as they are, have become the media's new Clinton family.

No doubt, even after being a faithfull church member for 20 years, moved and molded by Rev. Wrights Sunday rip roaring racist rants, has never read the churches weekly newsletter, which is passed out as a handbill each Sunday as well as posted on the church web site, which he no doubt didn't even know they had.

According to Obama, he sat there for 20 years, but heard and saw nothing at all, because he was in deep thought and prayer, oblivious to it all.

Let them cover up all they want. The truth is out and what they say or don’t say doesn’t much matter. They no longer have any credibility. Today, they are like a laughingstock.

What’s more, any white folks left with a brain are finished with affirmative action and the rest of it. We have done all WE can to end racism, the rest of the trip is going to have to come from black folks and they haven’t even started walking.

Hear Obama deny and admit being in church when controversial things were spoken;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H64yKJhB528

Around 1 minute mark Obama says,

“Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in the church? Yes.”

Well, guess what, we do not need oblivious as president and for that matter senator. I think Michelle is disgusting.
