The Georgia Senate and House tonight passed HB 89. This will allow Firearm Permit holders to carry their weapons into restaurants that serve alcohol, State Parks, Wildlife Management Areas, and on public transportation. The bill now goes to the Governor.
Way to go Georgia. Thieves had better watch their @$$ !!
All you ever wanted to know about Georgia’s ccw http://carryconcealed.net/legal/georgia-ccw-state-laws.php
Please send your legislature to Connecticut. Hurry!
Good news for gun owners, bad news for criminals.
I have a GFL. The original bill would have allowed me to have it in my car at work, something that my company’s present policy prohibits.
Did this provision survive through passage?
The area where I work (near Hartsfield) is probably the most dangerous place I ever go.
BTW. I would never keep it hidden in my glove box against company policy. That would just be so wrong.
I believe car carry in employee parking lots passed Yankee, but with some provisions.
Here is that section,

Unfortunately the legislature here in TN managed to kill our version of the bill.
God bless Georgia legislators!
Do you think Gov. Perdue will sign it into law?
Falls under the old adage “Better tried by twelve than carried by six.”
