It’s interesting how eager people are to believe a falsehood, and not even bother to check and see what the actual facts are. It reflects a kind of groupthink which is just as bad as that of the conspiracy theorists themselves.

IF you’re referring to me, Joe, I don’t “believe a falsehood”. I was going on my old memories of the various and sundry news reports I heard. I never said I knew there were “witnesses”, I said I thought there were. I didn’t check before I posted, and obviously I was wrong, as, “there were no witnesses”.

Of course, I will point out that the person who said there weren’t witnesses said, he wasn’t AWARE of any, and furthermore, he was a hotel employee. That doesn’t make him an official source of information. However, several articles I’ve now read state “there were apparently no witnesses”. I also noted that Kennedy died within a few days of each other and there were witnesses to the one, but not to Bono. So, with my OLD memory, I am sure I confused the two incidents and misremembered (hey, if Clinton can misremember, so can I)
