Mexico reconquers California? Absolut drinks to that!(alarma de Vómito Principal)

The latest advertising campaign in Mexico from Swedish vodka maker Absolut promises to push all the right buttons south of the U.S. border, but it could ruffle a few feathers in El Norte.

The billboard and press campaign, created by advertising agency Teran\TBWA and now running in Mexico, is a colorful map depicting what the Americas might look like in an "Absolut" -- i.e., perfect -- world.

The U.S.-Mexico border lies where it was before the Mexican-American war of 1848 when California, as we now know it, was Mexican territory and known as Alta California.

Following the war, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo saw the Mexican territories of Alta California and Santa Fé de Nuevo México ceded to the United States to become modern-day California, Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado and Arizona. (Texas actually split from Mexico several years earlier to form a breakaway republic, and was voluntarily annexed by the United States in 1846.)

I live in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are forced to shop at “state stores.”

Luckily, I live near one that’s allowed to open on Sundays (albeit limited hours).

The price you pay when you live in a state founded by Quakers.

The world basically functions like Mexico,we are the last of the sane countries. We stand for everything the world hates and what they want is not to change the border, they want it completely wiped out clear to Canada. We are in trouble and what are we going to do? elect some globalist to solve our problems? We will be assimilated, taxed and bound by so many treaties that we will cease to exist. If that doesn't work,we will be annihilated.Communism and it's perverted cousin socialism with the hammer of globalism will win if we continue on our present path but I am an optimist ,we can prevail,we have seen darker days and many peoples of the world, who can't change their own governments on their own, still love what we represent and hope we will help them, just as we have in the past, but a land of liberty was always vulnerable from the enemy from within and believe me our internal enemies just about got us where they want us.Sadly war is the most likely scenario which will stop this foolishness, fighting for survival makes people see clearly and can you imagine an all out draft,Mexico and Canada would get the illegals,enviro-cowards and most of the liberals in the twinkling of an eye just because of the hidden implications of a vodka label

I think when the dust settles here and Absolut realizes what a major boo they made, there may be some heads rolling, especially if a boycott materializes.

I personally don't drink the stuff, but keep (make that used to keep) a bottle on hand for guests.

I like my bloody mary's on Sundays, but can't see any difference between an $8.00 bottle and a $30.00 bottle after adding all the ingredients.

As an aside, the US is Absolut's biggest customer and it accounts for about 40% of its sales.

Me, I've already send out several emails in protest.

We could turn Mexico into 3 or four states with corrupt governors who have sex with whores and crooked on-the-dole senators and congress members taking bribes from lobbyists which exceed their salaries. They'd be acclimated in no time.

This is what the US supported in the Serbian province of Kosovo-Metohija.

With the chickens come home to roost?

Nicer try, guy who believes it's OK to turn his back on burning Christian churches.

We both have our obsessive consistencies, it appears, only mine don't involve Dhimmitude.

Something I've never done. Cute slander, though.

We both have our obsessive consistencies, it appears, only mine don't involve Dhimmitude.

Let's see: Serbia enters into security cooperation with Iran - not dhimmitude.

USA fights radical Islam all over the globe - dhimmitude.

Get help.

USA fights radical Islam all over the globe - dhimmitude.

With the exception of Kosovo, where the greatest anti-Christian pogrom in a generation is supported by the US.

Yeah, your big lie ain't workin'!

And I've never seen a single post from you opposing the desecration of the Orthodox Christian churches, monasteries, and cemeteries in Kosovo so what you try to call slander is actually called truth among Christians.
