That is absurd. From what I've read about the supposed Global Warming, the average temps have gone up about 0.5°C or so and that is "melting magma"? Isn't magma already melted, as in molten lava? A quick internet search told me that the temperatures of most magma are 600°C to 1300°C. So, we carbon based lifeforms are "melting magma" by driving SUVs and using incandescent light bulbs??? Yeah, sure we are.

Melting Ice Caps May Trigger More Volcanic Eruptions

It would be more believable if the reverse had been the statement: More volcanoes may trigger more melting of ice caps.

Again, the science is wrong. It's like their junk science that states that CO2 triggers global warming, while the truth is that global warming triggers a rise in CO2 levels.

The volcanoes on Iceland are caused by the two Atlantic ocean tectonic plates pulling away from each other.

I imagine icecaps have no bearing on plate tectonics do they.

The scientists who do these studies get invited to all the “great global warming parties” afterward as a reward for contributing to the cause, but in the background, all the scientists are snickering at both them and how these outrageously ridiculous claims can keep making it into print. It is almost a contest about who can get “global warming will cause cannabilism” story into print.

I will give it a try.
